The Ground Work Foundation Days will introduce you to a new way of thinking, and looking at things from the horses point of view.
This day is for students that may be new to horses, or looking for a kinder approach to your horsemanship. For those who already have a basic understanding and would now like to improve their skills, knowledge and relationship with horses. Or for horse and handler partnerships that would like to address the holes in their knowledge, experience and confidence.
This first day will be broken down into two sections.
Looking at Yourself: What do you think you bring to the relationship with your horse. Consider how you feel when you are with your horse and how your horse reacts to different emotions that you are presenting.
Ground Work and Safe Handling: We will then look at handling your horse safely on the ground, learning the foundations for your ground work and teach you how to direct the movement of your horses feet safely and with confidence.
Cost: £70 per student - Time: 10am to 5pm.
This day will look at Horse and Human Anality in depth.
Advancing Ground work skills at different gaits, with difference length ropes, at Liberty (no ropes) and learning new techniques to keep your horses interested by using obstacles and your imagination!.

This day follows on nicely from the Groundwork Foundation Days. It will give you the opportunity to transfer the skills you learnt on the ground into saddle. This day will teach you how to maneuver your horses feet while on his back, this is an essential part of every ridden horses education, whether you want to hack through the countryside or compete at the highest level. The day is suitable for horses of any age and at any level as we look at the communication between horse and rider and develop ways of making this more subtle than you imagine.This course is ideal for anyone that wants to develop their ridden skills, build confidence, improve relationship or increase their knowledge.

Achieving Softness in Horse & Handler (Find your Softer Self )
Learn to achieve softness working on your body, breathing, visualisation and state of mind. This course focuses on you the handler to help you and your horse find harmony and softness together. The day will look at both ground and ridden work.
Cost: £70 per student - Time: 10am to 5pm.
*For all training days a deposit of £20 is required in advance to secure place, final balance due on day). Refreshments will be provided (tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits & cake, but please bring along a sandwich if you wish)*
If you dont have a horse, or are unable to bring your own we have horses you can borrow at a small charge.
Would you like to spend 5 days of quality time with your horse, learning skills which will enhance your confidence and open your mind to alternative horsemanship methods. Assess your current relationship with your horse and positively build on it. Learn to have fun together and enjoy each others company.
The 5 days will include Liberty sessions (off line), groundwork, ridden work, fun & games, or whatever areas you would like to address in your horsemanship. The week will be tailored to you and your horses needs. All abilities of horse and handler are welcome. Camps can be arranged for individuals or in small groups. Some accommodation is available at a small charge, or you are welcome to camp, bring your own caravan, local B&Bs or travel home each night.
For a 5 day camp the fee is £250.00 per person, £50 deposit required in advance. There will be 24 hour turnout available and use of a stable if required. *The deposit is not refundable*.
No fixed dates for these events, they can be held anytime which is mutually convenient.
